Otakara NYC is a new brand produced by Nepenthes. Founded by New York based hand embroidery artist Satoshi Suzuki, the brand creates embroidered pieces inspired by New York culture.

The name otakara, which means treasure in Japanese, reflects the brand’s intention for each piece to become something meaningful to its wearer. Through handmade craftsmanship, the label transforms personal memories and cultural references into wearable art.

Created exclusively for Nepenthes, this limited-edition collaboration introduces a special seasonal collection, including a series of tie-dye T-shirts inspired by New York.
